Let's celebrate spring by starting every day with a twenty minute healing meditation.
Sit in your usual comfortable position, and make sure you have twenty minutes of undisturbed, alone time.
Close your eyes and take a long deep breath with your mouth closed, from your belly, filling up your lungs, to the count of five. Breathe out gently in the same way, to the count of five. Do this for ten breaths. Continue to breathe gently, and think of light, coming from the top of your head, moving through your body, through your feet and into the ground. Let the light anchor itself to your essence stored in the earth.
Let the light expand in your body, all the way to your emotional field. Continue to breathe gently, and focus your attention on your heart chakra, connect to love. Again allow this love to be spread all through your body, into your emotional field. Breathe a few deep breaths, as you settle into the feeling.
Now place your attention on your solar plexus and release as your breathe out some more detrimental beliefs you have about yourself. You can release anything you want. Anything that makes you unhappy or that depresses you. It does not matter how many times you have heard those things from others. They can say what they want, but you still have the choice to believe what you want about yourself. State clearly what you are not available for. If you are fed up of abuse and rejection; “I am not available any more to attract in my life abuse and rejection any more.” If you are always scraping the barrel: “I am not available to have no money, and to always struggle” If you feel you are being taken for a ride: I am not available any more to be taken advantage of.” If you want a partner: “I am not available to be alone any more, and to continue to have a defensive attitude with love” Continue for as long as you like and then state what you are available for. “I am now only available for respect, love, appreciation, support and recognition” “I am available to have money, wealth, to be paid handsomely for my work, and to always attract abundance, not just of money, but of love and happiness too” “I am only available now to attract people who are considerate, appreciative of who I am, generous, kind and considerate” “I am now available to meet someone on my same wavelength with whom to connect, have fun, to love, be loved, respected, and be respected.” You can add to this all the qualities you seek in a partner, that you also recognize in yourself.
Take a few long deep breaths again, send light into your day, and intend to remember every time you find yourself engaged with unpleasant situations, what you are available or not available for. And then you are ready to face your day.
