It was not until recently that this cultural phenomenon struck me, engulfed me in its mentality ‘prevention is better than cure’ and now I too am applying collagen enriched day and night creams in a desperate attempt to maintain my youth.
But have we ever stopped to ask ourselves the question, why? Why do we exist in a society where wrinkles are frowned upon? It is true that abiding by such a lifestyle will help to maintain the hand we are given. But what most resent is being made to dread an inevitable transition in the cycle of life.
