Say goodbye to the dark, deep shades of autumn/winter and embrace a more
natural spring look.
Make-up artists at this season's London Fashion Week shows decided on a
lighter and fresher 'seasonless' look that can transcend any weather
conditions from summer to winter.
It's pretty much a bare-all season, with 80% of the make-up at the shows
being on the minimal side, with a flash of colour adding some fun.
"The complexion is certainly more matte this summer, but it's not
heavy," says MAC make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury.
"It's all about making the skin as light as possible, really minimising
the amount of base we are using, and then adding an element of some
shine or some highlight. The overall feeling is one of freshness and
giving the face dimension." |
