Ditch the dreary greys, pack up those woolly polo necks and send your
winter coat to Coventry. It's time to banish those winter fashions to
the back of our wardrobes and leap into the lighter, brighter trends of
2007.
With a new season just around the corner, the high street has become a
haven of colour. Spring has well and truly sprung in fashionland -
even if it's still a frosty February in the real world.
The sight of spring/summer trends on the rails is enough to send even
fashion-fad phobics off into indulgent daydreams of sunshine, sorbets
and jet-set holidays.
It's time to shed your winter chrysalis and transform into a springtime
butterfly by injecting some fresh shapes and colours into your
wardrobes. But try before you buy - many of this season's trends are
extreme - and we can't all parade around in the catwalk's latest looks
with supermodel panache.
"Be aware of what suits you and what doesn't," warns Oonagh Brennan,
fashion director at Company magazine. "Not everybody can pull off every
single trend." |
