Glitzy numbers might have been slashed in the January sales but you've

Futuristic metallics have fought their way onto spring's fashion radar.
This is a definite trend for the fashion magpie: think gleaming fabrics,
foil-embellished minis and bold space-age jewellery for an instant
shimmering look.
Oonagh says: "The catwalks paraded a real extreme version of the
metallic trend, which was presented as quite a futuristic, hard look."
But the trend doesn't have to be quite so fashion-forward. For a fresh
look, try soft silver teamed with crisp white. Fine layers like slips
and tees will also complement those strong metallic finishes.
