Now pushing 30, Justin has spent the last couple of years making
less-than-adult films - Herbie Fully Loaded and Accepted, the story of a college reject. But Justin says he's philosophical about playing
younger.
"I look at it two ways. I am genuinely happy to be working. Any time I get a job in this business is great. I saw a side to acting - my mum was acting when I was growing up - when actors are really struggling to get work. There's the part of me that thinks 'I thank god I have a job.' I would play an infant if I'm given the opportunity to be in movie - I'm just happy to have work.
"But then there's a part of me where it does worry me. I don't want to be the guy that's dyeing his grey hairs and getting plugs in his
receding hairline, saying, 'Hey dad, can I borrow the keys to the car?' and the guy who is playing my father is two years older than me. I don't want to get to that Beverly Hills 90210 stage.
"This is the first time in my career that I can make choices and say no to things. It's also terrifying because I'm so used to just saying yes to everything. Revenge Of the Nerds 12 - yes! Halloween 13 - yeah, I'm into it. I'm in this weird place now and part of my decision process now is trying to play characters who are a bit closer to my age. I just turned 29. I'm making a concerted effort to play guys who have maybe gone through puberty at least. I'd love to get out of college."
