However, Nadine’s father has today rubbished speculation about their split after the lovers were pictured locked in each other’s arms in Los Angeles. The pair embraced after Nadine landed in the California after a long-haul flight from the UK. An onlooker told The Belfast Telegraph: “They just couldn't stop kissing each other and seemed absolutely delighted.” Last week there was much media attention when it was reported that the couple had split because the strain of balancing their busy work schedules with a transatlantic long-distance relationship was proving too much. A friend told a national newspaper last week that with Nadine's work diary filled up to 2008 and Jesse's film career getting bigger, the pair had felt he strain too much. But this morning Nadine's father Niall told the Telegraph: “Recent Girls Aloud are doing incredibly well at the moment; not only do they have their ‘Greatest Hits’ album coming out, but they have also released a series of tour dates for next year. Meanwhile, Jesse’s film career has soared since starring as the hunky handyman in Desperate Housewives – taking the lead role in the romantic comedy John Tucker Must Die. |
