Kate Moss’s New Year poem
A new year's poem - reported to be a gift from Pete Doherty to Kate Moss - has been revealed.
According to the Daily Mirror, the singer's verse was found on the back of a menu, abandoned in a toilet cubicle at the Amanpuri resort.
It reads: “As we go into 2007, it feels like we're in heaven. Pete wearing his black hat and Kate in white silk.”
A source told the paper that the poor effort was just the beginning of a disastrous night for the supermodel. She apparently ordered Doherty to fly home after they argued.
“Pete wanted to tell Kate how much she meant to him and 2007 was going to mark a turning point in their relationship,” explained the insider. “But no sooner had Pete given Kate the poem the next day they had a massive argument about Pete sniffing around for drugs and she told him to go home.”
The bust-up also reportedly put the brakes on the couple's plans to move in together at Moss's North London mansion. The source added: “Kate wanted to move things forward and impose a bit more stability into their relationship. But after their falling-out on holiday, she's shelved that idea.”
