Britney Spears’ cocaine and ecstasy 72 hour binge
nuts4chic can report that Britney Spears' first husband of 55 hours Jason Alexander has added fuel to reports suggesting that the singer has a history of using drugs by revealing that she had once gone on a 72-hour binge with him.
Alexander revealed that Spears and he had brought in the New Year back in 2004 by staying awake for three days, high on ecstasy and cocaine. “We used ecstasy at night to party and cocaine during the day to stay awake,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
“Then we would take downers like Valium to come down and rest. Britney stayed up three days straight over New Year. I couldn't keep up,” he said.
Alexander insisted that the troubled singer did have a problem as far as drugs were concerned.
“She definitely had a problem with dugs when we were together - and that was three years ago,” he said. Britney is currently undergoing a rehab program at the Promises clinic in Malibu.
