- Jim Carrey has stepped on ground few celebrities fear to tread – he has criticised Tom Cruise and his belief in “corrupt” Scientology. The actor has accused Cruise of using his “ego” to “bend the will” of others to his beliefs, whilst accusing Scientology of being “corrupt”. He added, “'I don't
think I'll ever belong to an organisation, because organisations corrupt.”
- Caprice has spoken out once again in the aftermath of her alleged rehab treatment. The model was reported to have checked into The Priory in London last week, although it was later discovered that she was skiing in South Africa at the time. "It's really quite extraordinary," she said, looking
back. "For 24 hours, the press attacked me and spread the story I'd been in rehab after overdosing on painkillers. It was quite impossible for me to have been in hospital when I was flying out of South Africa to Paris. I have never been in rehab." She continued by revealing she has never routinely taken drugs, and rarely uses painkillers: "I have never done drugs, apart from when I was 19, when I tried magic mushrooms, which was horrible and once I had a Quaalude. I am so against drugs - I don't think I've swallowed a painkiller since I had my tonsils out at 14. I don't even take aspirin."
- Hugh Hefner is reportedly planning to marry Playboy bunny Holly Madison before the end of the year. Madison appears as one of Hefner's girlfriends on the Playboy founder's reality TV show The Girls Next Door. A source told The New York Post: "Hef has decided he will marry Holly, and he wants it for his show The Girls Next Door. Hef thinks business all the time, and looks for a new hook, although he also does really love Holly." Hefner is reportedly keen to keep his wedding plans secret because he is worried that monogamy will ruin the concept of the TV show.
