I Love/Hate Men
can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em.

I love men. In fact, I love everything about them.

Love MenI love watching them play a game of pick-up football. I love the way their backs look when they bend over to pick up something heavy. I love that they can fix things. I love watching them with little kids. I love watching them jog along the river with their dog in tow. I love how sweet they can be with us. I love how they open doors for us. I love when they are chivalrous. I love their big, strong hands. I love when they are tender. I love when they cry. I love that men don’t analyze things to death. I love watching a man walk home from work with a bouquet of flowers, knowing that there will be a very happy woman out there somewhere. I love that men can wake up in the morning after a night of drinking and still look hot. I love men with intelligence. I love the way a man can make a woman laugh. I love when a man grabs for a woman’s hand and holds on tight. I love when they hold us close to them. I love when they smile and look into our eyes. I love the way a man looks in a great pair of swim shorts. I love the way they play with their friends at the beach and run into the water like maniacs. I love that men are better drivers. I love a freshly shaven man. I love when a man wears cologne and I can still smell him on me the next day. I love smelling a random man’s cologne as I’m walking down the street, reminding me of a man I once knew. I love when a man smells like fresh laundry. I love the thought of a man doing laundry. I love the way a man takes off his shirt by pulling the neck-hole up and over his head. I love when a man picks out random little gifts for us, just because. I love watching an elderly man help his elderly wife across the street. I love that I need men.

I hate men. In fact, I hate everything about them.

Hate MenI hate when men honk and say dirty things to a woman as she walks down the street. I hate drunk, slobbering men who only want to get in our pants. I hate when a man doesn’t know how to listen. I hate when a man says he’s going to do something and doesn’t follow through. I hate when a man says he’ll call and doesn’t. I hate when men itch their balls in public. I hate when they blow snot rockets in public. I hate that men call older, single women ‘cougars.’ I hate that men can have sex with a woman and then never want to see or talk to her again. I hate the way men can make us cry. I hate when a man isn’t reliable. I hate that men seem to have a switch for their feelings that they can just turn on and off. I hate that a man will never know how it feels to have a biological clock ticking away. I hate seeing the heartache of my friends when they’ve been dumped by a man. I hate that men could be totally content with an X-box and a case of beer. I hate that men think we’re whining when we complain about menstrual cramps. I hate when a man’s ego gets in the way of saying I’m sorry. I hate stupid men. I hate when a random man grabs a woman’s ass in a crowded bar. I hate a man that is intimidated by a woman who is a great athlete. I hate men who cheat on their wives or girlfriends. I hate walking down the street and smelling a random man’s cologne, reminding me of a man I once knew. I hate that I need men.
