The hunt for Mr Right is over. Lose the vision of a knight in shining armour and ditch that dream of meeting the perfect man, 'Mr Right Now' is ready and waiting for romance. Instead of coveting a companion for life, women are more likely to choose different men at different stages in their lives, a new report says.
Women are dumping traditional Mr Right for four diverse date types, according to The University of Durham study. Stage one is all about 'looking for fun', two is 'looking for Mr Right', three is 'looking for a younger man', with the final stage 'looking to settle down'. It seems you can stumble upon more than one Mr Right in the quest for true love. "Women's hope for finding Mr Right is fading," says Michael Myerscough, coach for The Relationship Gym. "They're tired of getting their hopes up and hearts broken. Sometimes it's about stopping the search for Mr Perfect and finding someone you can love." 1 of 4 |
