Have you ever wondered why there don't seem to be too many sexy female comedians out there since Pamela Stephenson disappeared to the USA ?
If your taste runs to an attractive female comedian, to entice you with sick, dark and cutting comedy nuts4Chic presents Anneka Svenska.
Anneka describes herself as a sexy lass who can hold a pint of beer happily in one hand and a string bikini in the other.
Meeting her after her sassy review ‘Sally Swallows and the rise of Londinian’ at the Canal Café Theatre in London’s picturesque Little Venice, I can vouch for the pint of beer. The string bikini we’ll have to take her word for.
Anneka is the first in a whole new genre of female comedians, who have the ability not to take themselves seriously in the cruel world of comedy.
Comedy is not, however, an easy master to serve, and Anneka admits that some of the sketches, which are delivered with seamless ease to an appreciative audience, have taken many hours of hard slog to perfect.
Anneka is taking her disgusting, boil-ridden alter-ego Sally Swallows up to this year’s Edinburgh festival and is determined to show the world that she has the ability to match Rik Mayall, Ali G, Avid Merrion and David Walliams in grotesque character sketch comedy.
Never has the UK seen a female comedian do this with such vigor as well as having the ability to scrub up pretty well when she’s not in character. Tall, blonde with finely chiseled features and deep mysterious eyes that sparkle as she talks passionately of her love of comedy, Anneka has the looks to get her noticed.

The characters she has created in her review are sharply drawn, keenly observed and ludicrously funny.
No fetters of political correctness here. If you are easily shocked, better to stick to karaoke. Sally Swallows, a lesbian sociopath reporter seeking to inform the disinterested viewer of the goings on in the thinly pastiched metropolis of Londinian.
What follows is that aided and abetted by her supporting cast of Andy Day, Jodi Kamali and Sarah Kirkland, a host of lewd and highly suspect individuals act out their own reality in a series of increasingly outrageous scenarios.
Amongst the supporting cast, Sarah Kirkland deserves particular mention. Her sense of comic timing knits impeccably with Anneka’s multi layered humour.
Anneka is previously known for her 2 year Channel 5 show as ‘Eden’ in the her cult film show outTHERE, as well as a brief appearance as Saskia, Martin Kemp’s bit of stuff in EastEnders. An interesting connection with Eastenders is that Joe Swash who plays Mickey Miller is a second cousin.
Having trained at a top drama school and also gaining a 2:1 honours drama degree, Anneka has graced many a magazine due to her statuesque looks.
Now, determined to shock, as well as titillate with the most horrible of horrible shows to date, Anneka is taking her ensemble to Edinburgh .
Not for the squeamish, easily offended, politically correct lovers of genteel good taste, if you like League of Gentlemen, but love the rudeness of Bottom, then Anneka brings a show which will make you as sick as you are laughing.
Anneka describes her show as ‘so dark that ‘The Ring’ will look like Peter Pan.’
